Coolio is busted for Crack! Will the courts be playing by Coolio’s Rules?
Coolio was busted last Friday at LA International Airport for possession of drugs; crack cocaine, to be more specific. TMZ sources are calling this Coolio arrest, a crack bust. OMG! Coolio, what the hell were you thinking?
“Coolio’s Rules ” is this rapper’s reality show on the Oxygen network. Coolio’s Rules is the show where Coolio is trying to raise his four teenagers, be a caterer and find love as a single father.Do you think Oxygen will renew Coolio’s show for another season? Looks like some single father, rapper, caterer is going to have a long talk with Oprah over this crack deal he will have to make; in order to stay on her Oxygen network.
According to Perez Hilton , witnesses at the scene reported that Coolio got physical with one of the airport screeners at LAX, when the screener detected Coolio might be carrying drugs. The LAX police entered the picture and hauled Coolio away, then booked him.
Coolio should have been abiding by his own rules. How can he expect his kids to follow his rules, if dad is going to be breaking them in front of the whole world?

Coolio’s first single “Fantastic Voyage” did catch the attention of the rap underground, yet didn’t really score any prime time ratings with Billboard.
It was Coolio’s “Gansta’s Paradise” that set his hit into motion. This rap hit was included as a soundtrack in the movie “Dangerous Minds”.
Was Coolio ever in trouble with the law, before this crack bust at LAX?
This is not by any stretch of the imagination Coolio’s first introduction to crack, or the law. This larcenous rapper served time for larceny, and also ended up in a rehab lab for using and selling crack cocaine in his earlier years.
Even after Coolio had a breakout success with his 1995 “Gangsta Paradise” and Coolio finally was finally able to make a crack in that invisible media wall of fame, his follow-up raps fell short of Coolio’s “Gangsta Paradise”. This left Coolio trying to get a crack at being, a TV celebrity.

Coolio began showing up on “Hollywood Squares”, then later “Celebrity Fear Factor” and other celebrity/reality shows. Finally, after his online “Cooking With Coolio”, this 45 year old rapper got another crack at his own Oxygen network show “Coolio’s Rules”.
Oh Coolio, you poor damn fool. Hope this is all just a media rumor that isn’t really true. But, it does like pretty reality based.
Coolio, media, reality/celebrity, rapper star and cook - that he is; does have that insider track in his favor.
Should Dr. Drew intervene on Coolio’s behalf, Artis will probably get probation and have to do time on the next season of Vh1’s “Celebrity Rehab” and also participate in “Sober House” with Seth and Mary Carey.
What? Am I being too hard? This was crack cocaine, wasn’t it? Sorry if this seems contrived, but don’t celebrities usually end up talking to Dr. Drew when they get busted for drugs now?
